NanoGig is made by NanoGig, an independent developer ("we"). Contact: [email protected]. We collect as little as we can, and nothing about your pedal or your sound.
The NanoGig app
- The app runs in your browser. Your settings, scenes and library folders are stored in that browser only.
- It talks to your pedal over Bluetooth directly. Nothing about your pedal, presets or captures is sent to us.
- The released app sends anonymous, cookieless usage counts (for example: the app was opened, a pedal connected, the app was installed) to Umami Cloud. These contain no personal data and no pedal data.
- The log you copy for support is encrypted, and only leaves your device if you paste it somewhere yourself.
NanoGig Screen
- The screen stores its settings, preset names and the Wi-Fi network and password you give it on the screen itself. The Wi-Fi password is not encrypted on the device.
- To fetch its license and its updates, the screen connects to this site only. These requests carry the screen's chip ID, its board model and its firmware version.
This website
- No cookies, no tracking, no advertising.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver and protect the site (Cloudflare's privacy policy).
- Licenses: when you activate a license we store the license key, the order reference, the chip ID of the screen it is bound to, and the time. We keep this for as long as the license exists, so the screen can fetch it again.
- Kit requests: the request form stores your name, email, country, the kit you chose and your notes, only to answer you and ship your kit. A request is deleted 90 days after it arrives; what we need for an order you place stays with that order, as accounting law requires.
- Payments: licenses are sold through Polar as merchant of record, and kits are paid through a Stripe payment link. We receive your order details and email from them, never your card. Their privacy policies apply to the checkout.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Email us at the address above. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
