Who we are
NanoGig and NanoGig Screen are made by NanoGig, an independent developer ("we"). Contact: [email protected].
An unofficial project
NanoGig is not affiliated with or endorsed by Neural DSP. Nano Cortex is a trademark of Neural DSP Technologies. NanoGig works with the pedal by observing how it communicates; a pedal firmware update can change or break what NanoGig does.
Use at your own risk
The app and the firmware are provided as they are, without warranty. In control and edit mode they write to your pedal. Back up your presets in Cortex Cloud first. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost presets, settings or other data, or for damage to equipment.
The app
The NanoGig app is free to use. Its source code is under the MIT licence.
NanoGig Screen licenses
- NanoGig Screen is paid firmware. A license is for one screen: it is bound to the chip of the board you activate it on. You can move it to another board once yourself with the installer; after that, through support.
- It covers the firmware and its updates for that screen. There is no fixed update period: we may stop offering updates, and an installed version keeps working.
- The firmware is available only through this site's installer and the screen's own updates.
- You may not redistribute the firmware or license data, or use them to sell devices or services without our written agreement.
- The full licence is the NanoGig Screen license agreement (EULA).
Purchases
Licenses are sold through Polar, which handles payment and VAT as merchant of record; its terms apply to the checkout.
- Try first: without a license the firmware runs for 15 minutes after each power-on, so you can check that it works with your board and pedal before you buy.
- Right of withdrawal: a license is digital content, supplied as soon as its key is shown after payment. At checkout you ask for that and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends then.
- Refunds: purchases are final, except that you get a refund if the firmware can't be made to work on a supported board. This doesn't limit your rights under consumer law for faulty digital content.
Kits
- Ordering: you request a kit with the form in the store. We reply with the price of shipping to your country and a payment link (Stripe). The order is placed when you pay.
- Delivery: a kit in stock ships within 2–5 days of payment; one made to order within 2–4 weeks. We ship worldwide except to the countries the store excludes. Import VAT and customs duties, if your country charges them, are collected on delivery.
- Returns: you can return a kit within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, and get the kit price back. Email us first; you pay the return shipping, and the kit should come back complete and undamaged.
- Faulty kits: the legal guarantee of the consumer law where you live applies (in the EU and EEA, at least two years). Tell us what is wrong and we will repair, replace or refund it as that law provides.
Availability
This site and its services are not offered in some regions. We may change or end them; we will give notice where we can.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of where you live.
